One book

Wouldn’t it be good if the key points of knowledge I’ve gleaned from all the books I’ve read in my pursuit as a student of the universe, could be condensed into one book.

Certainly printing companies such as blurb make it accessible and cost effective. The notes I’ve kept during my reading of such books, the quotes taken down and my thoughts noted at the time would make it a somewhat less daunting task. And the idea, that I could have a book on my shelf that has all my ‘go to’ tools in the one place would be a dream come true. For instance, I was listening to one of Gregg Braden’s books, (thanks to audible) and he spoke of a prayer...now if I could just lay my hands on that notebook I could give you all the details....and then there is the idea taken from Robert Holden, of having a daily spiritual practice...I’ve been thinking that mine will start with two gratitude sessions per day and a lighting of a candle. And I could also throw in my notes on the Ayurveda approach to food that I’ve recently learnt about courtesy of Monisha Bharadwaj...

This book could be the book I pick up when I’ve lost my way. When life gazumps me and my ego starts shouting so loud it drowns out my soul....

If you wrote a book about your truth, what would it say?

The Beginning

It was following I CanDo It, Sydney earlier this year that I left with the profound feeling that I needed to start a blog. The time has come for all those on the path to be open and transparent. Doreen Virtue said, “Be 100% truthful and let the chips fall where they may”. Neale Donald Walsch said, “Sing my choir, sing”. So the time has come.

I’m not sure who will read my blog but I do know that the Universe has many delicious unfoldings and if no one should follow these words on the screen, then I can be happy in the knowledge that it is by following my bliss of reading, reviewing, writing, educating and empowering others that I type these words.

The posts that follow represent insights into my truth. My purpose in writing them is that you will be encouraged to seek your own truth.
